About

Every number traces to a source.

JNM applies that standard to real estate, for owners who need books they can rely on and for sponsors who need investor reporting that ties out.

Why JNM exists

Why JNM exists.

Good financial reporting is mostly about one thing: making sure the numbers people rely on are complete, reconciled and explainable before anyone makes a decision with them.

Many real estate investors and small sponsors keep their books to the opposite standard: spreadsheets that don't agree with the bank, statements nobody can tie back, and reporting that gets rebuilt from scratch every time a lender, a CPA or an investor asks.

JNM exists to close that gap. Owners get monthly books with a property-level view. Sponsors get quarterly investor reporting where contributions, distributions and capital accounts agree across every system before anything goes out.

How we work

Three things we won't compromise on.

  • 01Every number traces to a source. Reconciliations are penny-perfect or they aren't finished. A three-dollar difference isn't a rounding issue. It's a process bug, and we'd rather find it now than explain it to your lender or your investors later.
  • 02Technology prepares, a person decides. We use software and automation heavily, because it is what lets a small firm deliver on a fixed calendar. It prepares the work. A person reviews it, and you approve anything that leaves your business.
  • 03Same way, every period. Same close date, same reporting format, same checks. Financial operations is a reliability business. The value is in it being consistent and on time.

Why real estate only

One industry, done properly.

A bookkeeper who works across every industry has to relearn your business every month. JNM works only in real estate, which means one standard chart of accounts, one set of templates, and one way of handling what trips up generalists: owner draws between entities, refinance proceeds, capitalized rehab, investor contributions and distributions, and depreciation that has to survive a tax preparer's review.

The same discipline carries from a two-property owner to a sponsor with outside investors. The audience changes. The standard doesn't.
